I'm aware that I cheated, and posted Saturday's post today (Sunday.) But get over it. I was really, really busy on Saturday!
On a related note, I was talking to my mom (I can't remember why) about how I never slept on the beach this summer, even though I lived a thirty-second's walk away from it. She said, "You're eighteen! You have plenty of time left." And I replied with, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Life is short." I'm sure I've commented about how I don't want to ever have to settle down, at least not for a long time. I want to go on lots of adventures and experience the things that I love. And right now, these are the adventures that I hope to have in the next few years. You may not consider some of these "adventures," but for me, life is an adventure. Therefore everything is an adventure. So to clarify, I guess these are just life goals.
1. Work summers at summer camps in exotic locales. And yes, the Oregon coast is pretty exotic. :)
2. Major in Outdoor Recreation Management. That's what I'm feeling like I should be doing with my life at this point. But who knows how I'll feel in a month, or even tomorrow.
3. Travel to Alaska / work in Alaska / live in Alaska. It always looks so pretty in pictures, but if the pictures are wrong, then I'm going to find out myself!
4. Never ever ever permanently live anywhere that doesn't have a massive amount of green. Growing up in the northwest, I've become a little biased.
5. Get married!
6. Have kids... someday.
If I think of more, or change my mind, I'll let you know.
