This is going to be an incredibly random jumble of information that I'm just going to spew out on the keyboard, and tell myself that it makes sense (even though I know that it doesn't.)
The weather has been gorgeous today. Really really really freakin cold and windy, but gorgeous nonetheless. Bright blue skies all day, and a sunset that looked like a painting. Not a cloud in the sky. The moon is close to the hills, huge and bright, like you could just reach out and touch it. The moon is the thing that I love most about today.
- Do my homework every day.
- Get my hair cut / make it different somehow.
- Find a new job.
- Continue wanting the same major, to make life easier.
- Go snowboarding (with whose money is still a mystery.)
Oh, something funny. I love when I'm looking at people from BYU's pictures on facebook, and sometimes people will comment on a picture, "That's against the honor code." I'm sure a lot of the time they're kidding, but seriously? That sucks that they have to joke about that hahaha. I'm so glad I'm not going to BYU.
Another thing I love about life lately that has to do with facebook: There is an application where you can "Become a Fan" of something, sort of like joining a group that has a similar obscure interest, except there are no strings attached and they are generally about hilarious, all-too-true situations that you can't help but admitting that you've been in, or done. Here are a few of my favorites that I've seen lately:
- Coughing at every smoker you pass by just to make them feel bad.
- Not moving after you yell, "I'm coming!" when your parents call you.
- "I understand that you're ghetto, but could you walk a little faster?"
- Awkwardly turning around when you realize that you went the wrong way in the hall at school.
- 63 notifications later and I suddenly regret "liking" your status.
- "That was NOT your last piece of gum, stop lying."
- Pretending to text in awkward situations.
- Hitting things to make them work.
My personal MLIA [My Life is Average] for the day: Today I was leaving the bank when I noticed an elderly couple walking across the parking lot towards the bank. When the man got close to the sidewalk, he yelled, "Blast off!" and ran the rest way to the building. When he touched the door, he yelled back to his wife, who was quite a ways behind, "I win!" I hope my future husband acts like that when he's old. MLIA.
