kid cudi is the king

If you're wondering what it feels like to have mono... Watch the first 45 seconds or so of this.

Aside from the obvious drug references, of course.

I'm pretty much calling it quits on the mono tumblr. Tumblr's stupid and I'm too lazy to transfer it to another blog... Not like anyone reads it anyways haha. It is, however, National Blog Posting Month. I observed it last year by posting every single day. I'm pretty positive that'll get annoying but I think I'll do it anyways.

Accomplishments in the past few days: Read three books in a week, and am halfway through a fourth. Made it to church yesterday, although I wasn't exactly mentally there (it was a tired day, so I was battling sleep the entire time.)

Things I miss: College life. Meeting random people. Going to random parties (like those two dance parties I went to the week I was SO sick... I am so hardcore.) Doing laundry in the laundry room (always an adventure.) Going to class (yeah, that one surprises me, too.) The mountains around Logan. The fall colors in the valley going down 4th North. The hotties that work at Lee's. Bonfires in the canyon. Talking basketball with the 105 boys. Having the energy just to get dressed every day. My car. All the stuff I accidentally left in Logan.

Things I'm thankful for: Being able to come home to recuperate rather than having to stick it out at school. My family's support and willingness to help me out. Having family close-ish wherever I am. The priesthood, and having righteous priesthood holders around me. Portland, and how pretty is in the fall. The fact that I got all my money back for the classes I dropped. The fact that I can still live in the dorms after Thanksgiving even though I'm not taking any classes. My doggies.
