because i know you're really curious about my classes this semester

Monday: first day of classes. Let's begin with waking up... That was a struggle, considering the past three months have been relatively alarm-clock-free. I woke up like half an hour before my alarm, though, and was semi-conscious until it went off... and also for the next four hours. My large winter coat and I will be best friends after all (we were pretty good friends before, because it's so dang cute, but this sealed the deal) because it was about 5 degrees outside this morning.

Monday Classes: My first class is Creative Arts, which includes about 700 students and should be hopelessly easy. I already know quite a few people in the class anyways so that'll be sweet. Next up was Soils, Waters and the Environment. It'll be a little tough, but I am sooo excited for the material. It's about 80% hippies from some Natural Resources major or another, so I fit right in haha. Then Humanities... I swear to you that my teacher is Zach Galifianakis, except for the fact that he's a philosophy professor and quotes Socrates and Plato and Shakespeare and he wore a bow tie and circley glasses like Jamie Savage from Mythbusters. Not sure on that one. My last class is Social Systems and Issues, which, as it turns out, has the exact same content as this other class I took last semester (which makes my life awesome, because that means the first half of the semester will be cake.)

Extraneous Monday Information: Don't worry, because I was all ducked out today for the game and got tons of comments. I even got looked up and down at the grocery store, prompted by my sweatshirt (that was actually really uncomfortable, but I'm sure some people would have appreciated it.) Some guys at church tonight did the "O" hands (let's not talk about that picture, it's the best I could find) at me and were freaking out because I was wearing an Oregon sweatshirt. I felt awesome. It's fine though because I don't even watch football. The game's on right now and I couldn't care less about watching it ahahaha. I'm actually doing homework. What whaaat.

Tuesday: We just did the syllabus thing in yoga today, which is lame because that means I couldn't break in my new yoga mat. I went to all the effort to bring it, and look all yoga-ready, and we didn't even do any yoga. It should be pretty legit though. My biology class is the exact same class, with the exact same teacher as last semester. So I already have notes for the first half of the semester. Awesome!

Weather update:  Zero degrees outside this morning on the way to class. I was too lazy when I woke up so I threw on two hoodies and called it good. And you know what? I was only a little bit hypothermic by the time I got back home. Haha just kidding, I was like barely cold, which is totally weird. I'm such a pro.

Don't worry, I know no one read this because it's so dang long so I won't ever do it again!
Ever!

Peace and blessings.
