So I'm all moved in to my new apartment. It's gonna be pretty sweet. With the exception, of course, of the fact that the parking lot is about half as big as it needs to be, there is zero storage space in the kitchen, the internet is slower than slow, and getting from my apartment to campus should pretty much require that you're clipped in to a climbing harness because it's that steep of a hill. Other than that, though, it's great! Classes are prolly going to be chill, my roommates are definitely chill, and I don't even have a job, so life is pretty chill in general. I'm working on getting a volunteer gig at a nature center in Logan Canyon, and making some decor for my room because it is embarrassingly bland. It's day three of fall semester, and so far I have: had a bonfire at Second Dam, crashed a dance party in a parking lot, moseyed around an outdoor concert until I (we) found some cute boys to talk to, tripped about sixteen times around campus because apparently the sidewalks decided to take a break from being flat this semester, took a nap at an outdoor movie, and had about four thousand awkward "Hi, I'm Kylie" conversations. I think after four thousand, I can be considered a professional. Does that mean I get paid?
P.S. I found a picture of Portland at the D.I. yesterday. What are the odds?! Don't worry, I used only change to buy it.
P.P.S. I don't know if I mentioned this, but I have a cactus named Wallace. He is doing fine in Logan. He liked the coast tons better because it was so humid there he never really needed water, but he likes Utah just fine. He is getting so big! I'll keep you all updated. I really like Wallace.
P.P.P.S. I saw this lady today that definitely didn't shave her legs at all and boy was she proud of it. She had more leg hair than most boys I know. But she had a ring on her finger so I guess she wasn't too worried about appearances anymore. I wondered if she was one of those people that makes a deal with her husband that she will only shave her legs or her armpits, not both. He must have chosen armpits, though. I checked.
