HALF MARATHON
So doing a half marathon pretty much sucks, just so you all know. I was far from ready for it, so I couldn't run very much, but I finished. I got a hardcore sunburn, and ended up more sore than I have ever been in my life! It was weird because right around miles 8 and 9 I got suuuuper happy. Like, best mood of my life. I've been told it was the endorphins kicking in, but if I have to run 8 miles for happy endorphins to make me happy, then screw running. All in all, I'll probably end up doing it again next year. But I'm not happy about it haha. I am proud of myself, though. It's quite the accomplishment!
GRADUATION
The ceremony was pretty fun, but also prettttttty boring. It helped that I had some fun people to sit with who shared my nervousness about tripping and shaking so many hands. When it was over, they bussed all the seniors out to this random community center in Vancouver for the all-night grad party. They had some fun things like a rock wall and a bull riding thingy and TONS of food and prizes, and at the end they had a hypnotist, which was hilaaaaaaarious. The hypnotist was easily the best part of the night. I ended up back home and in bed at about 6:30 AM. It was light when we got there, and light again when we left. That's the sign of a good party haha. Decent!
So now those two huge, stressful events are over and done with. Now I just have to pack for camp (which will be a huge, giant ordeal, I can already tell haha) and make lesson plans (I don't even want to talk about that part!) I'll probably be leaving for camp on Saturday. Woot woot! Things are coming to a close. It's weird, but I'm okay with it. Off to bigger and better things. :)
