Don't Worry, I'm Yours
(Jason Mraz vs. Bobby McFerrin vs. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole)
Chronologically:
Graduation rehearsal and senior assembly yesterday, plus all-day party with my two favorite ladies. Amazing stress reliever and also amazing to be able to say things like, "When I was in high school..." and "One time in my english class my senior year..." (which we managed to work into conversation often, just to feel like awesome high school graduates. Since it's basically official and everything.)
And just so you know, Carriers is the worst movie ever. Don't watch it. You might be tempted, because it has Chris Pine in it, but he's a total tool bag in the whole movie, plus he dies in the end. There, I ruined it for you, so you don't even have to watch it now.
Slept until eleven today, just because I didn't have school, so I could. And also because I probably won't be able to for a very, very long time. I also would like to find my favorite lotion today, as it has gone AWOL. Nothing else to do today except stress out...
I'm so stressed for the half marathon tomorrow I want to tear my hair out. It sucks because my stress for the half is overpowering my excitement for graduation and grad night so that I'm not even excited for anymore. I'm glad that I'm done with high school, but not excited for graduation. Just stressed for the half. I don't want to do this!
My last day of church in RC ward is this Sunday. I might be back sometime in late August before I leave for Utah, but no promises. I'm pretty sure no one in my ward even knows it's my last Sunday. Or cares? Haha whatever.
Graduation on Monday. Again, I can't even think about being excited about it because I'm currently too stressed for the half. Then graduation party on Monday night, until the wee hours of the morning into Tueday. It's been rumored that the party's going to be at Great Wolf Lodge, which would be excessive amounts of epic.
The rest of next week will be a combination of trying to sleep late, forcing the sun to shine, cleaning, packing, making lesson plans to the maximum, and hanging out with friends as much as possible in between aforementioned necessities.
I leave for camp at the crack o' dawn next Sunday, the 20th. I want to get the best cabin, so I'm getting there EARLY. I might even try to get there Saturday, if that's alright with those in charge. And that's it! After that, I'm gone forever! Just kidding, but I won't be blogging at all this summer, so yall had better love my blog a LOT between now and then.
Stay sweet.
