Some things I've learned lately.

My classes are so hard this semester. So. Hard. I hate it, and I'm going crazy. Note to self: don't take upper-level classes meant for juniors and mostly graduating seniors until you are actually a junior or graduating senior.

I won't be returning to Meriwether this summer. It breaks my heart. I thought that now would be a good time to move on; last year was incredibly fun and successful, so I thought I'd rather end my time there on a good note. But as it turns out, there is never a "good time" to move on if you're not ready to. All of my closest friends are there, and not all of them will be returning anyways. It's just sad to see that that chapter in my life has come to a close.

Instead of Meriwether, I took a job at a random scout camp in Idaho called Camp Little Lemhi. I'll be the Nature Director, same job as I had at Meriwether last year. Even though I'm more than qualified to do the job, I'm a little anxious. I've never worked at Lemhi before, never even set foot on the property, and I'm going to be directing an area. The good news is that, by some random coincidence, one of my closest friends from high school, Eleanor, will be working there as well. I'm beyond excited about that.

Making plans for next school year, this is definitely the theme. The unknown is scary, but I'm more ready for it than I am afraid of it. So I know I'll be okay.
